The Best Things to Take With You to An Orlando Amusement Park

By Steve Rogers

You've purchased your passes, you've scheduled the travel together with hotel reservations, now all you have to give think about is packing. "But hold on. Exactly what things does a person need to take to a theme park?" I hear you ponder.

Described below I am going to tell you the most suitable items that you should take to the parks with you.

Sun Block - This is probably the most vital item to keep in mind! Orlando will get fairly darn hot, even in the Winter season. Although the sun isn't shining, you can actually still get sunburnt through clouds. Take it!

Water - To bring a reusable bottle of water (or just about any fluid for that matter) will be an absolute lifesaver during those very hot days. When you've consumed it all, you can go to a nearby drinking fountain and refill it to reuse it over and over again.

Video Camera - You might be shocked at the number of people that actually forget their video camera. Indeed several parks have professional photographers (that demand big bucks for prints) however if you want to shoot your own personal photographic memories, do not forget that digital camera! There are often signs presenting photograph opportunities as well as character meet and greets.

Comfortable Shoes - Think about the amount of miles you could be walking during your day. You may overlook how much you really walk, as you will be having lots of fun! But wearing uncomfortable footwear and getting blisters all over your ankles can truly mess up your day. This is especially true for your child and they will get really cranky!

Cash - Or maybe just a credit card. You will definitely need to have a bit of credit with you. You will find a heck of a lot of shopping to be done. Wouldn't it be a shame if you forgot a way to pay for it? The things that you can purchase in the Orlando theme parks are different from typical theme parks. A lot of parks have a lot of garbage that you simply shouldn't buy! But at the Orlando theme parks (particularly EPCOT) you can get a lot of really neat gifts.

Often while visiting EPCOT I have watched someone try to buy something. They would hand over their unsigned credit card and have it denied. Currently Disney have a rule that says they can't take unsigned credit cards without an ID (a drivers license or passport). Also if you would like to drink any alcoholic beverages (and are over twenty one) you will need proof of your age. Especially when "drinking around the countries" at EPCOT.
