This tropical themed setting with palms and lush foliage is home to Atlantic Bottle Nosed Dolphins swimming amid a pretty artificial reef. 12 miles from the Vegas strip the MGM Grand hotel offers visitors the MGM Grand Lion Habitat. This 8.5 acre ranch allows visitors to see these majestic cats as they eat, play, and naturally sleep. The lions at the MGM Grand Lion Habitat are descendants of the original MGM lion that became the classic symbol of MGM studio productions.
