How Weird National Holidays Are Invented

It is a fact that people all over the world love celebrating. There are many fun days that are celebrated all over the world. Some of them are celebrated at a state level, and others are celebrated worldwide for example, Christmas and new year. There are also weird national holidays that are celebrated across the world. Some are unique for every country, and others are not. Most people are eager to join in the celebrations for such days for the fun of it and to get a rest from day to day activities.

There are so many celebrations that are not common within many people but are celebrated by people. Some of the strange celebration days are picnic, punctuation, Bermuda, melon, Korean alphabet, and rain day. These are just to name a few around the world. Some of these days may not be marked in calendars of many countries; however, they are important in other areas.

A person who is interested in starting their own day of celebration should not get worried because there are several ways of achieving this dream. The most common avenue is through the government or the United Nations Organization. A person makes a formal application for the day to be recognized by the state they are. The applicant should make sure that they are not in any way discriminating any persons while making their application.

Another way is inventing the holiday and getting support from friends, colleagues and family. One can also form a supportive network on social media and be able to gain followers who are ready to celebrate the day with the individuals. One can get sponsors who agree on the idea and financially support ones efforts.

Alternatively, an interested person can create a holiday by way of a petition. Petitions can be gathered personally. The petitions can also be done by e-mail forwards. Petition is one of the most effective ways for an individual or organization to get support from other people.

The simplest method a person can start their own day of celebration is making the first step. The first step is starting to celebrate then call other people to join in later. A group can mark a day and start from there onwards over the years. It is however, important to share the idea and convince others to join.

There are several reasons why funny anniversaries are created. The reasons include firstly that the days may be designed to promote a cause. Secondly, some of the unofficial holidays may be invented to recognize a particular historic happening that may not have been recognized officially. Thirdly, the day may just be for humorous distractions and allow people to have fun, laugh with their friends and refresh their minds.

The world has many weird national holidays. These days can be seen in some calendars and through the internet. A person may not even be aware of all the celebrations because of the different cultures around the world. However strange they may be other people can always join in the celebration.
