The worry and anxiety that come with speaking in public can make negative feelings go out of control. Some basic techniques for public speaking nerves can help master this fear if you take them to heart and memorize these techniques. Ultimately, presenting and public speaking fear does not result from the audience, but rather a fear that lies within ourselves that we must overcome through a sort of methods.

1. Accept worries

To beat the fear of public speaking, you must first accept it. There's no shame in feeling fear of speaking in front of people. Many people fear speaking so much that must be actually higher on the list of human fears than death itself. Accepting the fact that fear of speaking when in front of people is a natural response - and something you can ultimately overcome - may be the first crucial step.

2. Control concerns

When you have accepted the oncoming moment of dread at the time you must give your speech as well as the fear that comes with it, you want to then learn to control it. Remember: fear is a human a reaction to stress, and like all responses, it can be controlled with practice. All people have different ways of controlling fear, but there are numerous methods that are tried and true, similar to:

Taking deep breaths

Reminding yourself it'll be over before very long

Visualizing yourself as soon as the speech, once you feel fantastic

Remembering that even when you feel you are a bumbling idiot, many people will probably view you as a strong and magnetic person to add giving the speech to start with

3. Confront the worry

Man's brain has the capacity for imagination, and we can comfortably imagine items to be much worse compared to what they ever are. Can remember the first time you went to the doctor to get a shot? It is likely you anticipated that it was going to be an awful or painful experience - , seconds later, it was over and it also was way less painful than you'd anticipated.

Do not forget that no matter how bad your fear may be that you are strong enough to face it head on. Public speaking is something you can do. Remember with the affirmation that you are a capable and intelligent person that you can give a speech people will listen to and take heart from. Even if you don't do a great job the first time, the second time you will do better, and the third time better still.
