When the iron ore is in a molten state, the manufacturers add various other materials in order to increase things like strength and etc. The actual amount of carbon or any other element being added will depend on what the finished product will be used for.

When it comes to finding good steel suppliers, what is the primary thing to look for? In a nutshell, if you run a business that uses a lot of steel, you have to focus on both cost and quality. Remember, if you choose to use inferior quality steel supplies in order to rake in bigger profits, you could in fact be putting people's lives at risk.
