The growing dominance of video within the business landscape has come as a shocker for most people. This is especially the case in the context of leadership executive coaching. It's here that video is rapidly edging out presentation sides to claim the territory as its own. Admittedly, this has partly been fueled by the rise of millennials to become the major demographic in the workforce. However, this isn't the only reason why you should consider making video part of your training initiatives:

This creates the possibility of scheduling training to take place outside business hours. The cost benefits realized here will be further compounded by the long-lasting nature of video content. Unlike text, this medium doesn't deteriorate over time. You'll therefore be able to re-use the material endlessly in future.

Adaptable: Video is practically unlimited in terms of the concepts it can render. It's this high degree of versatility that makes it ideal for use in any training context, from employee onboarding to continuous expertise development. It's also a medium that can be adapted to match the shape of your firm's culture.

This is partly because of the enhanced availability of analytical tools, but mostly due to the extent to which video can be analyzed. Unlike text, the medium makes it possible to track course progress and engagement levels. No need to mention what you could do with the insights acquired here.

There's no doubt that video is part of the future of corporate training. And don't think that the medium is just a way of completing the channels you're currently using. Rather, this is a tool with which you can create a richer, better experience not just for your employees, but for instructors as well.
