Get off the routines. Routines are advocated when beginning a journey. In fact, this is one of the pillars of success because it brings certainty. However, when they dominate your life, they will work against you. Drop them and begin to explore other options that reinvigorate your being.

Forget the age debate. Many people are holed into actions because their age mates expect or the society expect them to be doing it. Do away with this notion of being restricted to a particular age. Forget those clothing, places, dance moves, and such other restrictions. Live the life that will please you and add value to your future.

End the negative lecture about yourself. The reality is that some of your friends will ahead of you and there are childhood dreams that you are yet to achieve. This is not a reason to be harsh on yourself. The best way to cheer yourself is through positive words. They motivate you and give you the energy you need.

Keep old friends but make new ones. The best way to grow is to create new and more meaningful relationships. This does not translate into dropping your old friends. They have a role in reminding you where you have come from even as the new ones cheer you into new horizons.

Invest in physical and mental health. This calls for physical exercises in order to give the body more strength. Take a walk and spend more time outdoors. Further, you should invest in mental exercises like filling crosswords and writing poetry. Learn a new skill like language or a musical instrument. Monitor your health and enter into challenging fun competitions. This will keep you youthful.

Milestones are to be celebrated. People stop celebrating birthdays because they think they belong to children. Celebrate them like milestones to remind you of what you have achieved. The minute your life lacks celebrations, passion goes and interest in the important things in life also. By celebrating, you have new fire to take you to the next level.
