The storyteller needs to find a good time to make diversions as this helps a lot in keeping the listeners alert in the game. It is, however, not advisable to stay in a diversion for too long.

A remarkable storyteller is one who is able to characterize persons in their stories. For example, if there is a character in the narration who says something to another, the narrator needs to go into character and depict exactly what the character intends to say.
