There's an old saying that goes something along the lines of...
A diamond is a chunk of coal that handled pressure extraordinarily well.
Everyone is faced with pressure.
The pressure comes from all everywhere, inside and outside. However, it's about how you handle the pressure that really matters.
Everything in our lives comes down to making a choice.
We are all going to be faced with adversity and tragedies in life but the major difference maker between those who crumble to pieces and those who turn into diamonds is how they decide to react to life's tests and trials.
So how are you going to handle the pressure?
One person decides that they are going to be the victim and stops taking care of themselves completely. They let everything fall apart in their lives and continue to play the "woe is me" game.
The second person decides that they are going to face their problems head on and they tip their hat to the pressure. They understand that pressure is part of the game and decide that they are going to continue moving forward in their life.
Because they know that the pressure helps create them and turn them into something stronger.
If only we could all have this attitude about life.
Remember, we all face pressure.
Never lose sight of that.
But here's the thing. There's something deep inside of us that wants us to bring out our gifts that we have been given. If we succumb to the pressures of life, those gifts may stay hidden inside forever.
But for those brave souls that are willing to go through it all to help show the world what is possible, anything can be created. They can live as a representation of what is possible if you take your challenges head on.
And what's the final piece to this puzzle?
You will start requesting challenges because you know they make you stronger.
You will ask the heavens above to give you exactly wha you need to grow into the person you need to be.
And eventually, you will see them all as a gift.
The choice is really yours.
Break to pieces...or turn into a diamond?
Become a diamond.
