Most would agree with such a sentiment but I think that there should be just as much of a focus when talking about art schools. There may be those who believe that, when focusing on art, learning is going to be a walk in the park. While many may enjoy the opportunities that come about in the future, the truth of the matter is that you cannot so easily relax.
This isn't said to deter you from these types of schools, since I believe there are many perks to enrolling. First of all, you have to keep in mind that you can stick to your own style, if you so choose, since it is something you are comfortable in building upon. Secondly, if you're someone who enjoys the thrill of a challenge, what's stopping you from learning another style entirely? Both of these can prove to be a challenge but I think that there is a level of enjoyment that can be had as well.

Maybe your instructor has given you an assignment that has a due date to come in the following weeks. Do not get too comfortable with this idea; there is a lot of effort that goes into every assignment that is given. Art entails detail and if this element is missing, your final product is not going to be taken to well.
Socialization is another key factor to consider and I am sure that most would be able to agree with such an idea. Keep in mind that networking is done in a number of lines of work, one of the reasons being that it is easier for opportunities to be attained in the long run. You have to be comfortable making friendships while you're learning, not only from a personal standpoint but one that relates to business, too. To say the least, the creation of these bonds can prove to be a great help.
