It's the 3rd week of December- it's time to welcome a brand new year, 2012! It's also the time to contemplate the varied inventive ways to raise cash for our 2013 fund raising campaigns.
Pancake Breakfast
You can start the morning by offering people a pancake breakfast. Our neighborhood hosted one similar event on the Work Day. The breakfast started from 6.00 am and went on till 10.00 am. Around two hundred guests attended the fundraiser and we had a reasonable profit of $1,500!
Baked Pizza Sale
Another great 2012 fund-raising idea can be selling heavenly, hot pizzas. Set up a stall near your college, office, or home and start selling thin-crust pizza or the deep-dish one to supply more options to your purchasers. Do not forget to keep some of the most favored pizza types, for example the Hawaiian pizza with ham, pineapple, and green peppers toppings on it or the US style Sicilian pizza with catsup and cheese toppings. Keep as many options (Vegetarian, Sausage, and Bacon to cite a couple) as you can to attract more folks toward your stall.
A Sun. Cocktail Party
Invite all of your chums to attend the cocktail party. Ask your visitors to pay $50, of which you spend $30 on food and keep the rest as your donations for the night.
Ice cream Treat
Call all your family and friends for an ice cream treat. Pick up some of the most well-liked tastes and set a decent price for each. It'll help you collect a total amount for your cause!
Organize a Production at Home
You can simply arrange a production show at your house. Get a recent flick DVD from a local video parlor and call your friends and neighbours to look at them. Order popcorn and drinks to entertain your guests and remember to handover the donations form.
Host a Golf Tournament
Invite all your chums and comrades to play some golf next year. During last year's spring, we had organized a small golfing tournament at the town's nearest golf course. More than 20 golfers attended the tournament. We gave the winner a trophy and three consolation prizes to the other three best players. Enough cash was raised for supporting a cause from the tickets sale and also from the 4 sponsors who gladly came forward to support our fund raising cause.
Supply a Free Auto Wash
Set a day to supply free auto washing in your neighborhood. Every one of you should keep a track of the amount of vehicles washed and, at the day's end, count the amount of donation you collected from the event.
