The fact that it has not been producing the right quality of graduates as opposed to what is expected of it is indeed something that needs to be pondered on. Still, unless all these problems with public education are determined, one cannot expect for these issues to be resolved and addressed any time soon.
Poverty is one of the many issues that students have to deal with. Actually ended up not having the right motivations after they have found out that going to school requires a lot of money still. They already have a hard time meeting their needs. So, many of them would be more motivated towards finding ways on how they can earn more rather than learn.

Many have found out that the disparity between the technology present in Public schools and that of private institutions tend to have a very wide margin. Higher technology is offered in private schools specially since they have the right funding, the right financial support that is needed to invest on these items.
The classroom sizes can be another point to consider too. There has to be an ideal number of students admitted in a certain class to ensure that they are subjected to proper guidance and learning, . Classes tend to be way too overcrowded these days. So, teachers cannot be expected to really focus on the progress of the kids that they are mentoring since they simply have too much on their hands.
The curriculum that is being offered in these areas may differ significantly from the program that public schools are offering to. Thee lack of changes in the manner which lessons and other education activities are presented may have contributed to the usual lackluster performance of a number of these institutions. It may be about time to actually inject new ideas, new thoughts on these programs.
The health and the nutrition of the students should be taken note of too. Students would not be expected to be motivated to attend their classes when they are hungry and they are not properly nourished. Most would prefer finding ways on ow they can have something to eat instead of actually attending their classes. Hence, resulting in prior attendance in many of the schools owned by the government as a result.
The involvement of the parents and the household to which the student belongs to is going to matter as well. There needs to be strong involvement with the way the kids are peperoni at school. If they find that their parents do not seem to care, there is a good chance that they may not perform that well. This is why it is always encouraged that people should be more involved with what is going on with their kids.
