6 Often-Ignored Principles Of Great Design

By Franklin Skribbit

Let's face it. Most of what you know going into college came from movies and TV shows. No matter how much your brother or mother talks about their experiences as a college student - it doesn't really connect with your still-developing brain. Besides, everyone's college experience is so different, there's no point in basing your expectations off the anecdotes of others.

AN interest in the ins and outs of health care can easily be turned into a career in healthcare administration, but in order to do so, it is a good idea to first get a degree.

There's no need to make a huge effort to make friends. It will just happen. Don't force yourself upon others or let them force themselves upon you. If you get along with your roommate or the people on your dorm floor, great! If not, you'll find cooler people elsewhere. Most likely in the vending machine line.

Your Professor - There are a lot of stereotypes out there about professors. There are nerdy ones, strict ones, funny ones, laid back ones, devilish ones, old-school ones, and boring ones. That holds true in real life. But you don't really need to worry about it. Remember, no matter what "type" of professor they are, they are there to help you. Don't be afraid of them. If you make an effort to like them, most likely they will like you back.

Use contrasting colors - Contrast adds interest, and it's a good way to make your website exciting without making it too cluttered. Remember the common rule of thumb, "If two things aren't the same, make them very different." Your text can be more readable by setting it in contrasting colors that go well together (red and green, purple and yellow, blue and orange). An image will really pop if it's set in a contrasting background.

This type of degree will set you apart as a professional. A degree in healthcare administration will train you to have a professional presence, and as such you will be recognized as a professional as you continue to function at a high level and perform your duties well. Such a degree will provide you with excellent preparation for your future as a profession within the healthcare industry.

Picking a Major - If you know what you want to do - go for it. If you want a Nursing Degree in Phoenix, jump in! You'll get a great start on your major and have extra time to indulge in secondary interests along the way. If you don't know what you want to do - join the club. Very few people come in with a solid plan. Most people change their major 7 times throughout their college career. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be working hard to find a major, but don't feel discouraged if it takes a little time. Explore ALL your interests and chose something you really enjoy.

Each step you take towards fulfilling your life goals and gaining a position in your future career will help you become more certain of your path. So start today and choose the path you want to pursue. A career in healthcare administration can give you a future that is stable and professional, take advantage of this opportunity today!
