The popularity of Pittsburgh Ballet dancing has grown exponentially over the past few years. This is brought about in part by the rising awareness regarding the importance of exercise to health and growing middle class. The dance has a lot of emotional, physical and health benefits that accrue to ardent participants.

The exercises performed in this dance practice help to improve body posture by strengthening back and abdominal muscles. The students perform a lot of abdominal and back exercises to attain good posture. These exercises promote balance, flexibility and graceful movements.
