You always have a choice, there are thousands and thousands of coaches globally , but only the few have the unique mixture of abilities to enable you achieve all you want in life.
The majority of people believe that they can achieve without a coach. Why should they pay out their hard-won cash on sharpening their skills? Surely they are equipped to achieve all alone. Therefore why do all top sports men have coaches?
The answer is not difficult, no person is fully kitted out to be absolutely self-sufficient. You need help to shove you the important extra mile. You must have help to allow you to overcome the "weak" side of your nature and with the negative side of your brain. Everyone should have business coaching.
Let us consider Andy Murray for a second. He has been a top tennis player for the last three or four years. He has traditionally been encircled by coaches. He has won through to four grand slam finals, but he hasn't won the major tournaments. He could't go the extra mile when it actually mattered.
Murray has always had a strong independent streak. He left the British training system when he was in his teens and went off to live and perfect his game at a Spanish tennis academy. So when he reached a place where he knew he was good enough to win a Major championship but couldn't quite make the breakthrough he went in search of iron man Ivan Lendal.
Ivan had no experience as a coach, but he had managed to work out the right way to win Majors even if his opponents included greats like John McEnroe, Jimmy Conners, Pat Cash, Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg and Mats Wilander.
Ivan has instilled iron self-discipline into Murray's game. He has made the Scotsman play more aggressively. Only two enhancements that have made Andy Murray the US Open Tennis Champion and an Olympic Gold Medalist within a year of the commencement of their working relationship.
So, now what do you think? Have you got the guts to search out the right coach to help go the extra mile, to help achieve your dreams? Or will you continue to try and muddle by on your own?
