The use of colors for meditation may also be referred to as color yoga sometimes. This therapy involves concentrating on different sacred colors in you subtle body which correspond to some points in your physical body. Therefore, color meditation plays an important role in providing a person with balancing, healing, and cleansing at all levels that include mental, spiritual, vital, physical, and emotional levels. Again, meditation through colors helps to develop visualization and concentration abilities.

Essentially, meditation can be utilized to attain numerous things. For example, it can be employed to raise the capability to lessen stress, grow spiritually, link with your true-self, creative inspiration as well as for healing purposes. Meditations in self-healing are potentially powerful. This is due to the fact that numerous individuals who apply this therapy can overcome dysfunction, illnesses, and pain.

According to practitioners of this therapy, humans are not simply made of physical bodies but are multi-dimensional beings with a mental, emotional, inner spirit, and vital body. The practitioners believe that the energy within these bodies gets subtle from the physical to the spiritual. They also believe that illnesses and diseases arise as a result of disharmony in any of the energy body. If the energies are not harmonized, illnesses move inwards and affect the denser bodies. The illnesses are then manifested in the physical bodies as physical illnesses.

Ideally, there are various colors utilized in meditation therapies. Though colors are resultant from different wavelengths and vibrations of light, they remain assistive in healing practices. Nonetheless, every color possesses different effects on the body, emotions, and mind. For example, they may be utilized in raising your spirits, spiritual healing and in improving appetite.

Red colors, for example, are used in breaking up anger, selfishness, and aggression. This brings about courage, excitement, excitement, and anticipation. It is the warmest among other colors and represents fire. Consequently, it raises circulation, vitality, energy, and warmth in the tissues. Also, it stimulates and tones the nervous system. It may be relied on when feeling detached, depressed or lost and when experiencing gastrointestinal problems.

On the other hand, Violet breaks up frustration, criticism, and lack of self-confidence. It, therefore, enforces intuition, self-worth, and responsibility. Violet is relied on in spiritual detachment as well as the treatment of severe mental conditions.

Yellow is, however, used to break up criticism, judgment, and inability to enjoy life. In return, it enforces joy, newness to life, and optimism. Yellow is also used when suffering from body weakness, balance, stomach problems and feeling incomplete.

Usually, when you meditate with blue, you encourage trust and decisiveness within your life. Moreover, it leads to the destruction of weak willed or easily led characteristics. Typically, the blue ray is the best antiseptic and is a cooling and calming color. Consequently, it can be utilized to treat sore throats or heart burns. Also, it can be employed when you have an issue conveying your thoughts or being incapable of communicating. Similarly, blue is applied as a general color for working the lymphatic system, the immune system and healing.
