What You Did Not Know About Pastor David Oloo

By Della Monroe

To start and maintain a ministry calls for more than just hard work. You need anointing from God. If you were to ask the successful ministers about their secret to success, they will tell you that God is behind it all. It is impossible for a church ministry to survive if God is not involved. This is something Pastor David Oloo acknowledges.

The preacher should start a ministry only because he or she wants to spread the gospel. Other ulterior motives will cause the domination to fail. However, there are so many pastors nowadays who are starting churches to get financial benefits. Such ministries fail because the leaders have no interest in the gospel. The bible warns of such and Christians should be wary. Pastor Oloo goes about his work zealously.

A genuine church should have an aim and purpose to reach out to many people in order to influence their lives positively. The doctrines advise that the surrounding of people should be made better through bible teachings. Transformation in human beings causes change in the environment due to the newly acquired virtues. In church, the gospel is the tool to use in bringing this transformation.

A church has no direction if the people do not believe that Jesus was born from God. He was sent on earth to save human kind from sin. After accomplishing this mission, he went back to heaven and left his disciples to continue the work He had started. He is a high priest seated on the right hand of God. When He comes back again, He will judge the living and the dead.

The church has to bring a positive impact to the lives of its members in the process of preaching the good tidings and saving souls. The church should be a place where believers go to seek answers, find hope and also help. Poverty eradication should be among the missions of the house of God. God does not wish suffering to his people and the church should help ease the pain of its members due to poverty.

The preacher takes charge of founding the church physically but it does not mean it belongs to him. All churches have God as the leader and no man can claim to own them. Progress will be realized if God becomes the leader of all the activities of the ministry. The preacher cannot make it on his or her own however much he may be stable financially.

Growth should be planned for when everyone in the congregation is in agreement that there is need to expand. It will happen if the Christians join hands to see it through. The leaders have to sit down and strategize on how to expand. A desire to see the set goals accomplished will be the driving force to bring about a change.

The church should be at the front when it comes to enacting structural facilities necessary for enhancing daily operations of the average believer. The projects definitely need a lot of money and this is where the members are encouraged to be generous in their offerings. Besides the money, success of these projects needs divine intervention. Pastor Oloo has been blessed with donations from foreigners who have helped him build premises for his ministerial projects.
