What To Do When God Is Involved In Reshaping Your Life

By Ann Miller

Life is full of ups and downs so when next you are depressed, do not think you are the only one who has gotten into trouble. The wisest man, King Solomon, stated in the Bible that there is nothing new under the sun. This means that the condition you are presently passing through now has been faced by someone else. If God allows troubles come to you, chances are that He is more interested in reshaping your life with it. Drawing close to Him in prayers and reading the Bible will help a lot.

You can employ different ways to read the Bible during this time. One of them is through the use of a devotional. If you use a devotional, you are eager to see the next day so that you can have a clearer picture of how a story or admonition ended. Going through the writer's commentaries will also help to build your faith in God the more.

If possible, make it a habit. That means having a specific time, day and place to have a quiet time. This will create a more intimate relationship between you and God and you will have the grace to face the challenges until the appointed time when they will be rolled away.

If going to the church early in the morning every day will not alter your activities, then you are encouraged to do so. Apart from the chance to read the Bible there, the priest's prayers for you will help to reshape you. You will start to see positive changes which will remain as long as you continue to be in God's presence.

It is now easier to read the scriptures with the apps created for this. Some bring up Bible passages on your phone or laptop so that you can read without doing any search. Some others work by sending you verses from the Bible every day at a particular time. Again, you can find some that have a selection of topics with passages of the Bible that can help to solve challenges.

Starting and ending a devotion with prayers is necessary. Taking down what God is saying to you from the passage will help you throughout the day. It is amazing how these scriptures are sometimes encountered on a day when they will be most useful.

Subscribing to daily emails will also ensure that you don't fall short of the required dosage of God's word for you. The email may also contain real-life stories of people who applied the scriptures and got help. Their stories further explain that whatever you may be passing through, God can use it to reshape you. An example is the story of Job in the Old Testament.

The conclusion of the matter is that it is unacceptable to give up even in times of trials. When you consider trials as an important tool to reshape your life, just be assured that in the midst of the battles, God is there to save you. Listening to the pastors, reading God's word always and praying continuously are sure ways to overcome any challenge at all.
