Communication is actually a common vital aspect of life. It refers to the process of allowing the conveyance of information between people. Language remains an imperative skill which allows communication with each other. For every developmental stage in life, Speech and Language Skills for children remains an essential process that ought to be carried out early enough at a time when the brain remains fresh and still ready to learn.

Generally, children are born with a tabula rasa brain, their brain is totally empty and it is then filled with what she hears from the environment. The child can develop speech naturally from listening from parent, individuals surrounding the kid and also the environment around the child. However, language skill are well mastered when taught, especially at a younger age. Language and speech development are very important.

These two aspects are completely divergent. On one side, language is a set of social grade that shows the understanding of the interpretation of words, combining words to make a sentence so as to send a message and read call on and direction shared by colleagues. Children have to develop these important skills to help them relate with age mates, parents and become social beings.

The two aspects are best developed in natural setting with interaction from both the parent and peers but a parent has a greater role to play in their development. They best develop in an environment that is rich with sights and sound and more exposure to two aspects featuring co-currently. Children can learn easily as compared to adults as their absorption rate is quite high.

Such skills may be natured or developed in kids with assistance from parents or in circumstances where parents create rich and conducive learning environments through the positive day to day interactions. Interactions need to include features such as social skills like shared focus, turn taking, interactive games as well as observing and commenting on what takes place.

These abilities are best nurtured through interaction. Easy ways of developing them include talk technique. This is purely a narration process where parent or facilitator narrates all the happenings of the day to the kid as the day evolves. This develops the child speech as the child is given an opportunity to coordinate muscle actions like tongue, lips movement, and vocal track to build a recognizable sound that forms language. The kid gets an opportunity to answer questions thereby learning some communication rules.

Moreover, the skill can be developed through singing. Through this the kid masters some rules of language. Through this, the child can express ideas in a logic manner. The singing of popular nursery school rhymes too is helpful. Joint focuses are vital as the facilitator looks at objects, points them, and names them. The facilitator looks at books together with the kid and together they name pictures and read stories.

The facilitator should get down to the child level and make a face to face talk and make every activity a learning activity. The environment should also provide for all necessary opportunities for a child social development. Finally, you should be a good role model and speak clearly and correctly.
